Well I have a remedy for my itchy, dry/flaky scalp...it works well for me and I'd like to share it with you all. I do a one lathering shampoo...massaging the scalp with my fingertips to remove the dead skin and produce blood flow (one lathering is to prevent removing all the oil from my scalp). The last step before styling is a deep condition...this is to restore the hairs condition to a healthier state. Re-cover with a shower cap sit under a hooded dryer for 20-30 minutes on med heat then do a lukewarm rinse to seal the hair shaft (close the cuticle)...proceed to style. It allows for easy detangling, re-moisturizing the hair which helps prevent breakage.
