Dealing With Your Dry Hair and Scalp

-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

Whether you have an itchy, dry scalp or dry, static-filled hair, you're looking for a way to get some consistent moisture into it. There are all kinds of ways to solve the problem. Here are a few:

Choose the right shampoo for your hair. If you've got scalp problems, get a shampoo for dry scalp. If it's your hair that needs some extra moisture, make sure that you're giving it some when you wash. Don't overwash your hair. If you're getting dried out, try switching to every other day or every two days. Some people like to wash with conditioner only, but if your hair is still dry with that, even the water can be the cause of your dry skin and hair.
Don't brush your hair too hard or try to solve your itching problems by scratching with your brush. This can irritate your scalp even more and compound the problem.
If you can avoid using some of your hair products, do. The chemicals in hairsprays, gels, mousses and pomades can dry out your scalp and hair. Do try to use a deep conditioning treatment or a hot oil treatment, but try to stick to products with natural ingredients and few chemicals if you want to get rid of the dryness.
Avoid heat styling whenever you can. If you can avoid blow-drying or dry your hair on the cool setting, it will help with the scalp. Avoid using a curling iron or straightener whenever possible, as the heat is damaging and will dry out your hair. If you must straighten or curl, use a protecting serum on your hair to minimize the damage.
There are professional scalp treatments that you can use if simply changing your habits isn't enough. Vinegar is also a good, if smelly, option for your scalp.
